Ok so New England might be out. :( I have no clue where we will go and Jose is gone until AUGUST!! Uh correction from my last post- we will be going to Rancho Mirage- which is a stones throw from PS and I would like to mention my dad- Joe Nazarian- aka Joe Strong. HOLLER!!  He works with mice you know....well at least one anyway.
Scratch the Price is Right too- there is nothing going on but the rent and We haven't done anything noteworthy lately either....;(ho hum.....the kids start swimming tomorrow and I have been going to the gym 4-5 times a week....again. Lets see how long this lasts- I am determined to look good again. I may even go to the tanning bed before I go to the desert oooh dare me??
Did I mention that Sawyer went to his friends a few weeks ago and fell off a trike, yes, a trike and had to go the ER?? Well he did and I took him to Rady's Childrens hospital instead of the nightmare that is Balboa- and the poor thing got stitches. Just two, but he was terrified and freaking out. They had to wrap him like a mummy to keep him still cuz it was really close to his eye. It's already healed and  I don't really see a scar.
Oh we did make it to Legoland and some friends went with us. It was really fun, my friend kara and her husband have kids the same exact ages as my kids- Sawyer went on a rollercoaster and is such a "kid" now, he can go on anything. Sachyl was afraid of almost everything which I thought was weird.....hopefully she outgrows that, I don't want her to be like me.
We went to see Monsters vs. Aliens in 3d and it was really cool, Sachyl was scare at first but everyone, including Devs sat thru the whole show. Just shove some popcorn and skittles in Sawyers face and he is content as a cow.  Twilight is out people ....go see it and fall in love with Edward all over again in your own living room.........I must go now my children are arguing and punching each other. Can u feel the love??

It's been awhile

Okay well we had our usual SAWYERS BIRTHDAY EXTRAVAGANZA and it was all planned out- we would go up to Carlsbad and stay in a resort that in it's package included Legoland tickets. Cool , so day 1 we would go to the SeaLife Aquarium adjacent to Legoland (check) and day 2, get up early, check out and head on over to the park- okay, well we got there about 10 minutes before it was supposed to open and no on was really there. There were some people there for the aquarium but no one else. I went to the box office and asked for a map and the guy said " Legoland is closed." to which I replied, " No. It's not!" - yes it was - they are closed Tuesdays and Weds. .......... my poor kids! We had been planning this for weeks, I pulled them out of school, Nana helped with the room. What was I going to do?? I had to think quick, I couldn't let down my babies so I pulled out my secret weapon...  " Do you guys want to go to Disneyland??" YAY!! All is right with the world- so we headed to the OC and were safely inside the gates of the Happiest Place on Earth by noon. Bonus is we still have our Legoland tickets, so we can go this Saturday- poor Sachyl, I have turned her into a jetsetter- she thinks anytime we go somewhere now we are getting some nice hotel.  Sorry honey we can drive up and back in one day:)
Anywhoosie, the Aquarium was really cool- not a whole day excursion like I was hoping but really cool and the food was all very very healthy and organic and delish. The hotel was nice too, except most of the children play areas were under construction or being repaired :( and the play room with all the video games cost money - who ever has cash anymore , let alone coins-? The last person I remember with a pocket full of coins was my grandpa in 1980......but we did have a view of the ocean and it was nice to feel the ocean breeze again. Had it been a few weeks later the flower fields would have been in bloom right in front of our room. Oh well-

Sachyl is really digging her tap class and has taken over my Itunes on the computer to listen to her song and a lot of Pat Benetar........?? We decided to quit the play at the Baptist Church. Sawyer wasn't feeling it and it was just something I was never really "feeling" on Sundays- the kids are too little to make that commitment but I told the director to keep us in the loop for maybe something in the summer-
Our next planned fun will be Nanas for Easter, possibly The Price is Right on 4/13 and Palm Springs in April- I really think the kids will enjoy The Living Desert.  It won't be hot and miserable yet.
Speaking of miserable weather , we are still waiting for our orders to get outta summer24/7 aka Southern California. I lurves it, but I gotsta go!  We are down to either New England or WA.  If we go to New England Joe will be a recruiter and I know he will have no problem reaching his "quota"- he is a very determined and hard worker.  CA is my home and always will be but I need a change- I want a real Fall and a real Winter.  A real Spring would be a slice of heaven, literally- that's how I picture it anyway.

ps finished the Alley Winter 09 vid:)

Till I am bored silly, see ya!
